What can you see?
The area of the Tua Valley Regional Natural Park (PNRVT) is approximately 25 thousand ha., located in Baixo Tua, between the districts of Vila Real and Bragança, and is part of the municipalities of Alijó, Murça (right bank of the Tua river) , Vila Flor, Carrazeda de Ansiães (left bank of the Tua river) and Mirandela.
Surrounding the PNRVT, there are a set of protected areas, specifically the Douro Internacional Natural Park, the Alvão Natural Park, the Montesinho Natural Park and the Albufeira do Azibo Protected Landscape.
The PNRVT has an important peculiarity: it brings together 5 municipalities with cultures and identity traditions, which means that there is a great diversity of choice for those who visit it, in terms of gastronomy, wines and crafts, geology and hydrogeology, microreserves, and flora and agrosystems.
